Description

Navy blue is not only reserved for beachfront-style interiors. Deep, very elegant and intimate, it has become an important part of our interiors and our wardrobes becoming a fashionable colour, driving out black and dark colours in general. We like little touches of it in all of the rooms of the house, with a linen tablecloth, fabric lampshade, a rug or even a bedspread. And for a genuine successful decorative statement a total look works really well, with a lounge home to a navy blue sofa.

Navy blue colour is also a great one for playing with monochromes: aquamarine, denim blue, light blue, royal blue, all combinations of blue can play well together without any risk of clashing. And for winning combinations, be bold and use blue and orange (two opposite colours, one warm and the other cold), blue and terracotta (two very elegant cold colours) or blue and dark green (also two cold but exotic and natural colours).
