INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAND USE
Fill a pot with enough lukewarm water so the fabric can move freely, then heat over high heat.
Add the soluble dye sachet and the contents of the soft sachet (liquid fixative), then stir until completely dissolved. There is no need to add salt or any other product.
Add the previously dampened synthetic garments or objects, cover, bring to a gentle boil and maintain this temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, stirring very frequently to obtain an even shade.
Turn off the heat and carefully remove the fabric (be careful not to burn yourself). The dye bath can be disposed of down the drain (it is safe for sewage systems and septic tanks).
Rinse the fabric thoroughly and then wash it in cold water with a mild detergent.
Warning: For blended fibres, Haute Couture synthetic dye will only colour the synthetic portion of the fabric. For example, for a 50/50 fabric, only half of the fibres will be coloured. For dyeing a fabric composed of at least 65% synthetic fibres, synthetic dye alone may be sufficient.
If you wish to dye 100% of the fibres of blended synthetic/cotton textiles, you can combine synthetic dye and cotton dye in the same dye bath. The synthetic dye will colour the synthetic fibres while the cotton dye will colour the natural fibres.
In all cases, rinse the fabric thoroughly and then wash it in cold water with a mild detergent.
